Internationalization, Themes, and Better Performance

Hello fellow level creators!
The development train for the 2D side-scroller level editor continues to pick up speed, and I’m back with another exciting update on the progress I’ve made! This time, the focus has been on refining the core experience even further, making the editor more efficient, visually adaptable, and accessible to a wider audience.
Here’s a breakdown of the key improvements in this latest push:
Even More Performance Gains: Building on my previous efforts, I’ve implemented additional performance optimizations. These targeted code enhancements mean the editor should feel even snappier and more fluid, allowing you to build your dream levels without getting bogged down, regardless of complexity.
Personalize Your Workspace with Themes: Your comfort matters! I’ve introduced Light and Dark theme options. You can now choose your preferred visual style right when you launch the editor, making those long level-design sessions easier on the eyes and allowing you to tailor the environment to your personal preference or ambient lighting conditions.
Expanded Internationalization (i18n) Support: Reaching level creators around the globe is a major goal! I’m thrilled to announce that the editor now supports multiple languages. I’ve added full internationalization support for Arabic, Burmese, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. This is a big step towards making the editor truly accessible and user-friendly for a diverse community of creators worldwide.
Unlock More Control with Enhanced Configuration: I’m putting more power in your hands! Following up on the flexible configuration UI, I’ve added even more options for you to tweak and customize the editor’s behavior. These new settings provide deeper control, allowing you to fine-tune various aspects of the editor to perfectly match your workflow and preferences.
These updates represent significant strides in making the level editor a more powerful, comfortable, and globally accessible tool for your creative projects. I’m incredibly excited about the direction I’m heading and look forward to seeing the amazing levels you’ll build with these new features!
Happy level designing!
